TYPE BCO-OFFSET CONNECTION tubular level gauges are assembled with pair of auto shut off ball check valves with offset and union construction. The total cost of this level gauge installation is less than the other type since there is no need for additional isolation valves. Because of the offset construction the valve may be closed and the glass tube can be replaced while in service by removing the top plug and introducing the glass tube from the top. Whenever the glass tube breaks the ball check arrangement automatically closes the valve seat and prevents wastage of fluid.
